Wtb: Journey tape or copy

yeah i know... i seen the one last night and it say 100.00 23 days buy now.. and im like "i got time" looked 2 hrs later GONE!! lol... i knew i shoulda did it!! ahh there will be more...

I've got one that has the tape unspooled all the way out of it that needs to be put back together.. I don't know if it can be saved or not. It worked ok until my daughter pulled the tape all the way out of it. It may be slightly crinkled, I took the two halves apart and never tried to put it back together. If you want to give it a go you could have it for $40 shipped.

Like I said I don't know if it's savable....Imagine 2 cassette halves with a pile of tape spaghetti. I'm at work so can't take a picture, but I'll try to snap one when I get home in case any one is interested. If not I'll put it back together and sell it for $100 :)

I may have an original extra one, I have to check my storage but that won't be till this Sat.

I would just get a new blank looping cassette and record the audio on it. Cheaper than NOS and probably better sound quality. I believe the mp3 file was available at one point on the net. Also cassette tapes are magnetic so they degrade over time just from sitting. So NOS may not sound great.

If I had a machine, I would probably just replace the tape with a solid state device.
