WTB: Journey Arcade Game

I dont think its the distance you need to worry about .....as much as the price. Make sure you bring a "thick wallet"
Good luck in your search!

$1500+
....
I would say thats for an average working game. But im biased! I think $5k MAY get mine out of my hands - but I dont know. :p (not that its worth it, but I REALLY like mine)
I know there are some floating around from time to time from $1500 -$2500 depending on condition.

not a common game that comes up for sale often and any parts for it are even harder to find, most people have them as their keepers. $1500 and up sounds right, there's one for sale on ebay right now but beware the seller's fishy...

WOW! really?!? Why so much?...

I was thinking $500-$800...
Yah - low production numbers - many were converted back in the day. Mine was - took me 3 years to find all the parts to put it back to original.
I would say its a cult classic game. You either love it or hate it. I know there are many people of both opinions here. :D

I loved it... reminded me of Tron. The only place that I really remember playing it regularly was at the old Grand Prix Race O' Rama in Ft Lauderdale (where the Hard Rock Casino is now).

What makes the Ebay seller fishy?

he reposted this again, but when he first tried to sell it I had emailed him and asked if I could stop by and take a look at it because its not too far from me and he responded with no. theres a thread already about this in the general discussion

Did he give any reason why you couldn't stop by?!? He has 100% positive in his feedback (albeit only 16)...

I actually grew-up in South Florida and went to Coral Springs High (where he is from) even though I live in Michigan now. Thought maybe I could get a friend to check it out for me...

What do they typically go for?

I sold mine about 2 years ago for $800. It was in excellent condition and had side art on both sides. Only missing the tape deck and tape. Worked great, but ended up having a sound issue. I posted it for that price without even knowing about a sound issue for quite some time without any buyers.

I sold one YEARS ago for about $800 as well. It was a nice original game. I wish that I hadn't sold it, but I had reached a point where I was SURE that I would never find a house with enough room to hold all of my games that I was keeping at my office. I was wrong, because shortly after I sold that game (and some other nice/rare machines), we found the house that we had been looking for. But it was too late...
