I purchased a high speed printed mylar of a guy on RGP and it ended up being just a printed sticker from an ink jet printer. It wasn't even on mylar. I already sanded all the artwork off my old playfield in anticipation of receiving a nice playfield overlay and this thing is just unusable. I was nervous about purchasing the thing in the first place since he told me he didn't have a camera. I even asked him if the inserts or holes were cut out. He replied "just sand the old playfield, seal the wood and stick the overlay down". Which meant to me the holes were cut out. Oh well, lesson learned. I paid through paypal so he's going to take it back. I just wanted to know if anyone had a genuine printed mylar overlay for sale? I'm stuck now with a bare playfield. I can't really afford the 1k dollars for a NOS and who knows when CPR is going to release their repro fields. I'm on the list but I need to do something in the mean time.

Thanks

Here's a link to the type of overlay I thought I was getting and actually wanted.

did you

did you ever find a solution? How long have you been waiting on the list a cpr? Where can you buy a NOS playfield? Sorry for so many questions I just picked up a thrashed high speed and deciding what to do with it.

I found an old playfield on Craigslist. I emailed the guy and asked if he would ship it . He sold it to me for the cost of shipping. I ended up stripping the mylar off and touching up all the paint and then clearing it with varathane. It looks ok but definitely not collector quality. Im still on the list for the cpr repro. Im considering removing my name though because the swap will be such a pain. It took me days to put everything back together. Hope this helps.

I have a nos hs playfield. Deciding on wether to install or sell. Have had it about a year or so!!!
