Need a set of working Gun Fight boards. If anybody has these I'd be forever grateful. :D

Thanks in advance, :beerchug:
Jeff

p.s. Is Elektron Forge still open for business? I've tried emailing them a couple times over the past month without any luck.

I have a thread about a game lot available in Shreveport. Theres a gun fight cocktail in there. I have no idea if the boards are in it. When/if I get a chance to look, I'll check for you.

Hmmm... I'll give 'em a try from my Google email just in case something odd is going on with my other one.

Thanks. :beerchug:

Elektronforge is open, it just takes time. I have had contact with Alex in the past week.

Not sure if I made his "naughty" list or something but I'm not having luck reaching him. :( I tried sending him an email about fixing this PCB set and a Space Encounters PCB set and no reply.

Does anybody else repair these type boards? My son and I just want to see who's the quicker draw. :D

So needless to say...

BUMP, still looking for a working Gun Fight PCB set.

Welp, I'm assuming I'm on his "do not deal with list" because I wrote asking if I could just buy one of his switching power supply adapters and still nothing. ;) I can take a hint. :)

Soooo... BUMP, still looking.

I sent him a board to be repaired and just got it back. From the first time I emailed him until I got the board back took a few weeks, maybe even a month. I think he is busy and it could take awhile but I would not totally give up. I myself am working on getting the pods I need for my Fluke9010a so eventually I can do a little board repair myself, but that will take some time still. I have a Gunfight, 3 Sea Wolves, and a Boot Hill with bad boards so I hope to become proficient at fixing the 8080 stuff. This does not help you now, but don't give up on your game. The old Midway games are some of the best.

I completely agree. Gun Fight I remember from BITD and the cabinet artwork just wows me. And the whole reason I wanted Space Encounters was game play. It amazes me how much they did with that black and white game... adding the strobe... the red light... the controller... what is not to like. :)

My problem is having four boardsets that do not get to jail bars even. I've never had one of these games so after going through the troubleshooting guide a few times and not making any progress there isn't much more *I* can do. :( Just wish I had one working boardset to use for "stare and compare".

Oh well... eventually we'll get to play these... I just hope it's before my 10 year old son goes away to college. ;)
