Well, managed to break a gear while trying to unsieze the motor so I guess I need a whole new assembly. Marco doesn't have it, or Action Pinball. Hoping someone here can help me out!

Which gear is it? I have a bunch of those motors in pieces.
Yes to being the one in Rescue 911.

It's the one one step away from the motors. As in if you consider the motors turning gear 1, gear 2 is broken. I can get a picture tomorrow.

I emailed PBR but their email bounced back as undeliverable. I'm assuming they're having issues with their email server

If you want to tell Steve Young how to run his business... good luck with that!
I'm just saying if you have a page that says "Make sure and include all of these details in your email, and send the email here" and then don't accept emails, well, that's going to lead to some lost business, lol.

PBR is the Bob Roberts of Pinball.

I believe Steve is back to running the business solo. When I first started ordering from him around 30 years ago (!) it was just him and his wife doing everything. Then he had a younger guy named Jimmy who was mainly dealing with email orders... but now when I call, it's always just Steve. Haven't had the heart to ask about Gloria.

I know the way he does things is unusual and old-fashioned... I have no problem with it. To anyone who is dealing with him for the first time: I strongly advise you to have an attitude of positivity and gratitude when you talk to him. I think he may have mellowed a bit with age, but he is known to have a short fuse. If you get on his bad side, you'll be doing yourself a major disservice.

Oh, I certainly don't have any issue with the old-fashioned approach. I just figured I'd follow the on-site instructions on how to approach them about motor purchases or repairs, and turns out that's not the right way, ha.

Guess I'll be calling Tues as I just realized tomorrow is a holiday.
