I am looking for a screened repro, but if that is not available, I'll take solvent-based if it is the exact size and the colors are accurate.

Me too!!! Arcadeoverlays has it but I think Spyridon determined the colors are a bit off..

Well, I will go with him if I have to. I thought he had tweaked the colors? Can anyone verify? I checked gameongraophics but Scott doesn't have it listed on his site.

I got the tweaked version and it is lighter than the ones originally produced by Arcade Overlays. I'll try to post a side by side comparison pic when I get home tonight.

The colors look pretty good to me. Maybe a little too "pastel" but not really off by much. Check out my restoration thread to see pics on the newly painted cabinet.

Well I tried to order it from arcade overlays, but when I went to pay, Paypal told me his site is 'untrusted' and 'unsecure'. I really don't feel like f-ing up my paypal account. What now? Is his site blocking ID info? Can anyone give me a direct link?

I ordered the AO version. I had to go thru the check-out cart on his site, as his direct paypal link threw up a red flag on Paypal with Firefox. I guess we'll see how accurate this artwork is. Is the cab paint supposed to be color matched to the side art? Is that the idea?

I have an original cab with original paint and original side art... they do not match. I'm not sure if that's due to age or if this is the way it has always been.

The side art is glossy with no texture... pretty standard stuff.

Mine had a varnish/clear coat over the paint that had yellowed. There was a portion of the blue near the front edge that the clearcoat had been rubbed off. The blue was much closer to the side art in the rubbed off area.

I don't have the ba11$ to try and peel back the artwork to see what the paint looks like beneath... I think that would be the best way to see the diff.

I already peeled mine completely off and there is a huge diff in the blue under the sideart and the blue around it. I think they meant to match the blue of the side art to the blue of the cab.

I bet that blue under the side art is brighter than the rest of the blue isn't it?... I wonder how folks are color-matching their paint... if it were me I would use the paint surface under the side art as reference...

That's what I am doing, but I still have a nice swath of side art left, and it's pretty close.

Hello member lover "Jow", I'll be sure to keep you abreast of any endeavors I happen to delve into. As per your personal message inquiry, my 'touch' curves a little to the right.

I got a set a long time ago, cannot remember where... Did the full meal deal on my Gorf, then put that crap on.. never did stick completely.. started peeling on one side a couple months later.. now I might as well remove it since its barely hanging on.. I posted in a thread on this a while back that this seems to be made out of a different vinyl.. like its got a bit of polycarbonate in it.. and its inkjet.. not that thats the bad part.. it just doesn't stick at all and now after 2 years seems to be shrinking in areas... maybe thats why it all peeled off. If arcadoverlays is the only place to get it, then thats what I got...

Well, with 250+ pictures I've taken, I didn't take any of the two side by side. Sorry.

FYI: a way to see the actual blue color is to remove the black monitor cover on the back door. I made sure the blue that I took in was a good match for that shade of blue.
