As the title states looking for a Gorf cpu, I do not need all the boards or the cage. I just need the one to the far right that has the harness, that would be the cpu. Rest of my boards test good by swap.
pm me Prices shipped to 43068 please.
Thanks!
Appreciate it!
Toby
P.s. I guess I should say I am looking for a working one lol, as I already have a non working one.

Hey Toby...

What does the non-working board do when you put it in the machine? Anything or is it totally dead?

Goes into test mode fine.

Beeps and has scrambled stuff on screen.

any body? if no one has one to selli gotta buy this complete wizad of wor, rob the cpu for gorf, then multi the WOW !

The CPU boards are not the same between Gorf and Wizard of Wor so you can't interchange them.

pretty sure your wrong on that one. Cpu board is the same. rom board is different.

I am 99.99% positive I tested gorf cpus in my WOW wen I was working to fix the gorf.

Yup...CPU board is the same....."game board" is different (the one with the headers).

Alright then...

The board with the harness is not the same for both games... which is what it seems you need.

Nope, thats the game/IO board.

I think both the game board and rom board are different between gorf and wow. Im not positive on the rom board.

Could we make this anymore confusing...:)
Gorf uses two different ROM boards....plus, there is no "first" board in the cage. With the exception of the two (smaller) RAM boards.....the other boards can be inserted into any slot you choose.

your right. My bad. I saw cpu board, and they are the same. I/O board is what he needs and they are different.

If you really need the I/O board, I probably have one. I usually don't test them as they usually work. I can plug one into my gorf and confim it..

Normally the CPU board goes bad. Keep that in mind..

Usually a ram chip fails on one or both of the ram boards, but the game will come up with a bad ram chip.

Recently I had one with a bad pattern board. Had a 2nd pattern board that would work fine for a few minutes.

then there is the rom board. Bad chips and/or bad sockets. pick your poison..
