I am thinking about getting a Gillian's Island Pinball does anyone have one for sale and if so how much and where. I am located in Arkansas.

In the retail world, yes maybe.....

No not maybe all day long, and well worth it. A well shopped machine with a warr. is worth a lot over a basement deal any day.
Lets See
8 hours play field shop
13.00 bolts and levelers
3 batteries
3 hours cabinet shop out
who knows how many hours in electronics repair and parts
Pinballs is where people get in trouble buying a sub standard machine that has not been gone thru. And repairman are hard to find so that 3000.00 not only do you get a machine that is 100% but you get a 90 day part and labor warr and peace of mind. I love it when guys buy these games because they end up here and we do the service on them.

Seriously, I get you are a big time retailer and I have no problem with that, but repair on a pinball is not that difficult. In fact, I've found late model DMD pins far easier to work on than classic vids because the diagnostic programs are so good.

$3k for a pin to a homeowner who has no interest in anything other than owning a pin isn't a bad deal.

rlevin gets shit around here from time to time because he's a retailer. from what I've seen, the majority of KLOVers like to get a bargain....and then fix 'em up.

nothing wrong with either, IMO.

I fall somewhere in the middle on most pins....I can fix small stuff, but I usually tend to buy pins that are working/non-shopped.....my buddy at Marco typically hooks me up for those.

I would say $2000-2500 for a Gilligan would be fair......but again, im not in the the retail business. if he's selling a fully working/fully shopped GI pin, it's probably a decent deal for those buyers that just want a working pin and don't want to fool with anything.

That is a good buy for someone I would jump on it if I was not already in HOT water with the boss for buying games

Gilligans for 3000...pfft...gimme a break...game is ugly as hell anyhow...

I paid less than 2000 each for Shadow, FT, & BSD all 1000x better than gilligarbage...

Lesson?? Don't buy retail, don't get ripped off...

Don't buy retail and don't get ripped off that is the dumbest statement I have ever heard and it is one you do not live by I am sure. You buy retail all the time and the lesson here is if you are fat do not take advise from a fat person and if you are broke do not take advise from a broke person and if you want to be smarter do not take advise from a total dumbass. Get a life you buy retail every day

I meant retail pinballs. I'm not paying for your overpriced shop job. 3000 for Gilligan's is a rip off...period...

Also you're the total dumbass. That has been proven MANY times on this forum...so you get a life

Well lets see I sold 1 million dollars in games last year and I own a 80000sqft warehouse full of games and have sold a few 1000 games over the last 7 years and you think you are more qualified to price games. That is funny.

At your prices, bet that didn't take long :)

just a joke, not trying to join the price war pissing match......

FWIW, I sold an extremely nice GI for like 1400 a couple years ago. That seems to me to be about mid-level on a decent GI.

You are right a mid level pin for 1400.00 is still a good price, and we sold around 1200 machines last year total. It is a hard business for sure but I love it and these games are so cool and it is a miracle I can make a living doing this. The only other thing I would rather do is oil down hot midget hookers but that is another story
