I am about to make a trade for a JAMMA'd Gauntlet cab and I need the main harness for it. Anybody have one?

I think he's looking for the actual wire harness for the Gauntlet PCB. I've got a Gauntlet cab that has been Jamma'd, and the idea is to get the orginal wiring to switch it back.

HA! Ok, Got it. Thanks You for setting me straight. :)

WoW! There are a lot of harnesses in a GAUNTLET cab.

Best of luck with your WTB thread.

Crap. That's a pain in the ass. Why didn't Atari make a single harness/loom for it like the older games. Maybe I'll just make them using this JAMMA info. Thanks Tyranix95

Good question. GAUNTLET always seemed like an odd cab. design to me too. Great game, but odd cab design.

In any event, I've always see the cab. with factory specs. in an arcade; however, in a home environment, I starting to see more players and collectors JAMMA-tize this big-bad-ass 4-Player cab.

Yeah, I've seen a couple in my day (not including the one in my basement!) There might be someone out there who has saved their wiring.

I've actually built around 3 to 4 of these harnesses for people here on the board.
I can make them but it does take around a week or so to make amd a lot of time.
I just need to know which harnesses that you would need.
Tyranix is right, there are a total of 6 harnesses to make an entire wiring set up for an Atari Gauntlet or Gauntlet 2 for that manner.
The list includes:
#1. The video harness (connects from the monitor to the main harness)
#2. The main PCB harness (connects to the main PCB, the switching power supply, and the audion PCB)
#3. The coin door PCB (connects to each of the coin doors, the audio PCB, and grounds to the power block)
#4. The audio harness (connects to the audio PCb and the main PCB)
#5. The speaker harness (connects from the speakers to the audio PCB)
#6. The control panel harness (connects from the control panel to the main PCB)

Harnesses would include all of the molex connectors, so basically the harnesses would be a basic plug and play.

Cost to make harnesses #1 through #5 is $140 shipped.
Cost for harness #6 is $50 shipped.
If anyone is interested, please send me a pm and I can make them for anyone.
