Yeah, I'd bet if these were reproduced everyone with an EDOT would buy a pair. If they were just foam I would consider trying to make a mold, but they have an embedded metal bracket that complicates things.maybe you could find something close at a bike shop..
I am surprised no one has a solution for you. You would figure your not the 1st guy looking for that part..
I once read that they were an arm rest to a car??
Thanks for looking, I appreciate it!Searched threw the GM parts center with no luck. I checked everything around that time frame to see if anything was even close with no luck. The GM pieces are one solid piece. For some reason I was thinking they were two. I will keep looking in my free time here.
Thank you for the photos and measurements. Turns out they're not from a car. Earlier this year, I spent some time unsuccessfully trying to track down the original molds. I traded e-mails with several old Midway folks, including George Gomez who is credited with the cabinet design. George said he definitely had a hand in designing those bumpers, but he couldn't remember who the original vendor was. Here's a few photos of a good one. Post these around some car restoration forums asking "what car did this arm rest come from?" and see if you get any responses. Dimensions are ~ 13" x ~ 1 1/2" x ~ 1 1/2".
They are actually a self-skinning foam, not upholstered at all. Really need molds to do it right, and I can't find them (see post above).Have looked into taking them into a automotive upholstery shop and having them recovered. Some of those places can do amazing work.

$120 bucks a set is totally reasonable if they are constructed just as the originals, which is a self-skinning foam over steel frame. Were they planning on constructing a new mold, or using an existing bumper to create a mold? I can sacrifice one of my bumpers to get the dimensions from the brake-formed steel frame, if necessary. I, for one, am very interested in some more information.I found a place that said they could do them but they'd probably cost ~$60 a piece. If there's interest, I'll follow up.
