I'm trying to find a Donkey Kong upright in the Socal area that's mostly original.

I know that sounds like a common game and in an area with plenty of options, but it just seems like it's harder to find things locally than in the old days. And harder to connect with other hobbyists, as these games are more of a business anymore. Dealers will do pretty restorations of popular games like this for their paying customer base that wants something which just works, but aren't as concerned about it being so authentic – LCD swaps, stick swaps, switching PS, etc. That makes sense, but it's not for me. And the local auction will either have that or worse something thrown together just well enough to show its working but a basket case hidden inside once you get it home.

So figured I'd give it a try posting here. The farther south the better, but depending on what's out there I'd be willing to drive. Thanks in advance for any tips or info.
