Ok peeps I know someone has a broken dkjr CPU board revision 14 they are willing to sell. I have the video board and not for nothing I have tried to make it work and with the 02 CPU board I have and I didn't get into data line details but they are 100 percent different along with what controls the address decoding logic. I can never get a 14 to run on the older 02 board. I'm willing to trade my 02 board that isn't working for a 14 that isn't working if needed. Hope someone has one of these. Thanks

I'm confused. TKG4-14 is a Donkey Kong CPU board, not DKJr. Is that really what you're wanting to run DKJr?
I've not seen that done, aside from adding the multikit add-on boards. Perhaps I am just unaware of it.

Yea dkjr is what was on the board when I got it. Wether or not someone else changed it before I got it is unknown. I do have schematics for a version 14 board and I'll have to look at it again when I get to my bench but I was sure it also said dkjr on the schematics.

I could be having a senior moment, but I don't recall ever seeing that. I'd be very curious if you're willing to share what you have with pictures.
Thanks!

Ok so here is a picture of the board. It actually has the djr-01-14-video at the top. The schematics don't say which game just the board tkg-14

Well that is quite interesting. I don't think I have seen that yet. It appears to me to be a DK board that is factory modified to play DKJr.
Could I see a picture of the full PCB board? Are there lots of jumpers added to the board like the on in your picture?

okay, after looking at your PCB again, I just realized that it is the VIDEO board, not CPU board. That makes more sense, as the Video boards are very, very similar. I could see reusing one of them between DK and DKJr. There's only about 3-4 differences that would be pretty easy to modify with jumpers or mods. Modding a CPU board would be far more complicated.

Yea which is why I'm looking for the 14 CPU board. The address lines are different and so it won't work without it.

I still don't think a revision 14 CPU board for DKJr exists. I'd love to be proven otherwise.
