Hi there ~ Total Pin NOOBIE here
I picked up my first Pin last week and it needs some love.

Update:
Cleaned playfield - Replaced a Gazillion Lamps - All New Rubbers - New Balls - New Tower Arrived/Installed
Also Learned that Steve at Pinball Resource is the go-to guy in these parts.

Looks AMAZING now and plays great, sounds better as factory reset opened up new dialogue. The BUMMER is my scoreboard started acting goofy then later went out completely. Ughhh

WTB: the little 2-3" BART on plastic that screws in above shooter lane

Thanks a bunch.

Welcome to the world of pins Bill - or as some here would say, 'the Dark Side'....

Original Cooling Towers are hard to find but they do show up occasionally on ebay - there is a kit to retrofit the newer style cooling towers from Simpsons Pinball Party if you wish to go that route. If you want to stay original and don't mind cracks I might have some that I switched off of mine for better ones.

Legs and bolts can be found on most any pinball parts suppliers website. Pinball Resource has a nice chart so you know what size you're looking for. http://www.pbresource.com/legs.html

Manual, Promo Items, and Backglass I've seen on ebay. I would strongly recommend getting the manual as your first priority. You can download part of it from the pinball database but at some point you will need the schematics which are missing from the one posted there. http://ipdb.org/search.pl?any=simpsons&search=Search+Database&searchtype=quick#2158

I do enjoy my DE Simpsons, and it does get play at my parties.

CPU ~ Thanks for checkin in! I did not get a key with this game yesterday so I popped the door today and found a manual inside! No coin box but a manual.
So I did order some items from ThePinballResource today and also grabbed a Bart topper and sticker set for the pop ups on ebay.

Now I had some time today to look around real good and noticed 2 nail holes in the area above where the ball shoots out from. Then after looking at the pics on that link I see that I'm missing the small Bart figure the balls rolls under as it's shot out. Damn!

I may take you up on the towers and anything else you have.....
