WTB: Data East: Jurassic Park Pinball Machine now willing to ship!

ok so i can't seem to find a Data East Jurassic Park locally at the price I want please let me know what you have condition wise. I'm 100% willing to ship via NAVL. It seems that this will cost me 400 to ship from virtually any state so if you have a JP your looking to sell please contact me via PM !

What I'm looking for decent relatively clean cosmetic shape doesn't need to be HUO
Working 100% with no errors, no dmd issues, i.e. t-rex, switches etc..
Preferably recently shopped out - rubbers, waxed, bulbs, glass, balls etc
No missing parts, no broken plastics / parts
No major cabinet damage
Topper not required
LED's not required
no playfield ware
Cliffy's
not a rats nest or a shit box basically.

Looking to spend 1400-2000 *Depending on condition..

There was one on ebay listed for $1600 due to them moving they needed to sell it fast. He says the display is not showing the score all the time so it is "probably just a fuse", pretty common explanation on ebay. I just checked again and don't see that one but there is one listed with a starting bid of $1799 with a BIN price of $1999. I too am looking for one but the prices for these just seem rediculous, this should not be a $2000+ plus pin, and with it being DE you would think it would be priced a little cheaper as that brand gets lots of hate and is not as popular. I am with you pricewise, this should be a $1400-$1700 pin in great condition in my opinion.

Agree, I'm not going to drop my pants on this game... I want it badly but won't pay beyond what I believe the game to be worth. according to Boston pinball guide it's a 1500 machine. I thought I was being more than fair offering 1600 without the topper to that guy on ebay. That guy listed that game about 5 times already. I understand condition is king, but i certainly don't need the one that was restored by H.E.P. at +6,795! Don't get me wrong I think Chris does excellent work but I don't think this title should ever be in that price range even NIB I wouldn't spend that money on this title.

There's one that's popped up several times in Boston on CL. Been shopped and LEDs, blah, blah, blah... Might be worth looking into.

I was second in line with that one in MA..game is now GONE he (Gabe) also had an ad on pinside a few days ago and neglected to list that he had a pending sale on the game already (I hate when people don't indicate that because they want to stack up potential plan B and C buyers), I know that he bought that game at the Allen Town Pinfest show from a guy named Jeff T.... he payed 1750.00 for it.. Jeff T. who I know payed less than 1200 for it originally from xmission in queens. It's not to say that money wasn't dumped into it cleaning it up etc and the game needed to be shopped.

Just to vent some more in my own WTB thread as to various times I've had this specific game slip through my fingers.. twice was the same machine as you can see.

First..I locally saw one on craigslist and the guy claimed he changed his mind about selling it and that his wife thinks "it looks cool and said to keep it".

Second game was in pinfest, I offered Jeff what I though was a fair price of 1600 at the time considering I know what he payed for it *1200 or less and he's been to my house but some people are just firm on price so I get that.

Third one I found on craigslist in AZ some lady just recently got divorced it was 1800, I was told that she would of shipped it to me but had another buyer lined up so I was second in line.. guy came, missed my chance.

The next (Fourth, thought this was the end of my search) JP i found on eBay in NH I worked out a deal even had a 500.00 deposit on the game. The guy was going to physically drop it off at my house I waited about a week and right before it was to be delivered he said he had family issues and said;" I'm refunding you your money so I'm not holding it"... meanwhile he did for nearly a week anyways.

Fifth try.. brings me to a JP the game on pinside the one in MA .. I was second inline.. which ironically was the same machine as the one I was looking at in PA during pinfest. so that one slipped by me twice.

Sixth try.... saw on pinside / and he's also a KLOV member now stangbat in KC won't sell me his he wants a star wars data east instead as trade and has buyers lined up...

#7 brings me to KLOVer "Pinkpot" : klov member "pinkpot" teased me and said he had a mint one collector quality in what looks like HUO.. I waited a few days he eventually got back to me a few days later..said that the guy who he originally bought it from said if i sell it to you , that you must give me first crack at the machine if i want it back... so he sold it back to the guy that sold it to him?

Try #8.... Stay tuned!

It's a 2,000 pin on boston btw. Check the updated list. definitely one that has risen in value. Things don't always stay the same price. Gotta change as the price changes.

Avg Of Price - 1,517...| YTD....2,074

I'm willing to step up and pay more for it (depending on condition of course) I found 3 for sale and willing to ship it from any state. The ones I'm looking at are (pinside, klov, retail) one of those I haven't heard back from so I won't hold my breath.

And with 9 sold YTD that 2,000 is looking more solid. As long as the YTD has a few sold in there its a lot more accurate number than the overall average since the current trend of prices is going up

The only thing about boston pinball price guide is it doesn't track craigslist, pinside, klov, private collector transactions etc so those prices are hard to really gauge other sources. I agree with you that this pin is on the rise in price / popularity. In the time I've been looking for one prices are all over the place. I have a deal that should work out on this game currently pending but I'm not going to be happy as ive had deals fall through, until it's physically in my house than I'll be at ease. Actually once I'm able to feed a goat to my t-rex than I'll be happy.

Yeah I hear ya for sure! Boston is just a guideline :)

Good luck on your sale man, hope you get it!

Just to update... I currently have a deal pending on this game. It's not delivered yet, and I don't even have an expected delivery date. Two of my good friends are having a baby soon, and had a T-Shirt of a stork delivering a baby with an ultrasound sonogram of his actual child... that was my inspiration for this lol:

I appreciate all of the leads thus far and KLOV is a great community. Again just to reiterate I thought I had a delivery / purchase made (even had a 500 deposit) and ended up falling through for an unforeseen reason. I'm pretty sure this one *should* stick. While I don't even have the delivery date I already made all of the necessary motions to obtain it. Hopefully my next post will be a positive with pics of the JP in my house.

I'm really pressed about where I'm placing it. The main reason is height restrictions in my basement. The topper looks pretty sweet and the one I would be getting it's included. If I place the game in my basement other owners told me this beast is 77'' tall with a 6.5 degree tilt and that's without the topper. So I'm leaning towards leaving the topper on and placing it in a different room / upstairs possibly. Can others confirm and chime in on the exact height w./ and without the topper?

Well as promised a pic!... Finally got my game, and LOVE IT..Again just to reiterate I wanted to thank everyone for trying to help me get this game.. Thankfully my quest ended on a good note, & It's in better shape than was described I couldn't be happier Can't wait to buy more PINS!!! *pay no attention to that shitty score! I was draining the ball / testing switches lol.. although I haven't been able to beat the original sellers high score off the board yet!

Very nice! That's a tight squeeze in there. I'm hoping I have enough height for the topper, but it looks just fine without it. - Barry
