WTB crazy climber bezel

My taito crazy climber doesn't have a bezel with artwork. If you have one, let me know!

I have one I'd sell. It's pretty thin glass. Know anyone from your area attending Pinball Expo in Chicago this weekend that might be willing to transport it? I'd be afraid to ship it otherwise. I've successfully shipped some pinball backglasses, but they were professionally packed and double boxed by Fed Ex. They got cross-country safely, but packing and shipping alone was $55 if I recall.

Really? I've got Taito glass with the artwork scraped off (due to conversion I assume - but it has the Taito logo) and it's pretty standard thickness, not thin really. I hope your recollection on price is wrong though. Is most of that cost in the packing? I've never had a glass bezel shipped before now but I wouldn't think the shipping part would be anywhere close to that. Perhaps you learned enough about packing glass from watching them do it that you feel confident doing it yourself and passing along the savings? :D

So if shipping weren't an issue how nice is the glass? Much flaking? Have a high res pic handy? I'll shoot you an email in case you have a pic and it's easier for you to email it.

A pinball backglass is a bit larger than a video game bezel. Anything glass....and big....has to be double boxed and oversized.....or it's going to arrive broken. The couple pinball backglasses that I've bought.....have all ran me around $60 in shipping.

I've got a bezel packed up for someone and the trick to keeping the cost down is to not make the box too large in that 3rd dimension.

The package within a package is the trick to keep it from breaking.

hey- I'm interested in how the CC bezel looks too-
By all means, respond to first poster first..
