As in title. It's missing from one of the machines in my garage. The machine is complete otherwise :(

These aren't cherry switches, or any other switch stem I'm familiar with. I tried looking up all manner of vintage keyboards and came up short.

Bump. Will also buy a complete set for #7

Unfortunately I think the Stems are different :(

its 5 bucks give it a shot on the adafruit keys from digikey

cut down center post and rubber cement them on until you can find something better. or cut a piece of square stock suitable to put the round peg into the square stock and the square stock over the square actual electric part of the button

These are cherry. They have a cross shaped stem.

I have hundreds of loose keycaps here from building mechanical kegboards. All cherry. None fit. I have no idea what this stem is, but it's not standard.

That helped me surprisingly not at all. Can't find any info on this.

Also bump.

Yea, I was kinda getting at taking the number pad off of the CP and seeing if their are stampings on the metal body somewhere. Looking at the pic it seems some of the printing on the board is obscured by the frame. I'd have pulled that entire thing apart at this point. If you have, I'm not reading that way, Sorry.

Good luck man. I'm surprised you haven't had any luck finding a matching one off an old keyboard. I really miss my Space Wars. I picked mine up and restored it over 15 years ago. Probably sold it 12 years ago.

Well, if I reach the point where I have both cabs working and haven't found a keycap, I'll probably turn to 3D printing.

But as of yet I haven't managed to get either monitor to stop blowing fuses.

Speaking of history, doing a little historical research to find the people who programmed and manufactured this game could get you somewhere. There's a lot of arcade historians around here that have checked into these types of things and have been successful. If those guys are still alive, you could probably get the information from them somehow.

You'll hear something like "oh we grabbed the keyboard off Jimmy's TRS 3000 and borrowed the keys from that. Jimmy was so pissed!" Just those little bits of information are so invaluable. Sadly, if we don't start gleaning some of this information from these guys it's gonna die with them if it hasn't already.

I think it's the same keycaps used on Sundance.

As if that makes it any easier, lol.

That's what I'm saying talk to the cinematronics dudes if you can find any. A lot of the other old arcade guys have been showing up to Arcade conventions, but I'm not sure if any of the cinematronics guys have. I mean the guys from before the dragonslayer stuff.
