So I woke up today and for some reason I want to consolidate my equipment down to one cab. I had thought of getting a Candy Cab in the past but never really put too much thought into it. Just seeing if anyone has a machine in decent shape that they might be interested in selling or maybe a sale plus trade. Thanks for looking.

I actually saw that and didn't have the cash at the time. I would love to meet the guy who paid for that thing, and take it off his hands.

Ah, I thought you were talking about it over at arcade otaku.

Candies pop up all the time in or near Florida (Georgia). Just gotta constantly check around the net and have money ready if a seller wants cash. I found my Blast City in FL just this year.

Don't try and pry one from a collector, they'll probably want way too much and try and jack the price up because of "improvements," they think they made. If you're patient you'll find a good deal below or around 500.

I've seen quite a few Blast Cities with the Bass Fishing setup sell for less than 300 dollars. You'd just have to order a few parts to get it running normal games (like a control panel). I'm not one for paying shipping or buying a cab I can't see in person first...

Of course if you wanna make a road trip to Utah or Cali you could have a cab whenever you want. The place in Utah has pretty good prices on a whole warehouse of Japanese cabs.

Thanks for all the info man. I really was sad that I let that bass fishing go at the last Orlando Auction. I mean it only went for 260. How crazy is that?

That's pretty cheap. A new blank control panel from Tokyo is like 100 shipped. And then you'd need to buy new sticks and buttons, and maybe a jamma harness. Tops you'd still be under 500 with that cab, I'd buy it in a second. As long as the monitor is good, everything else is easy to get. I'd probably buy a gutted cab and just fix it up over time.

I'll be on the lookout for one more in the coming years, would like to have a hori and a vert. After that, that's all you need.

I've built Dynamo's over time and i kind of figured that I would need a new control panel, but thats not a big deal. Just need to find a cab. First things first lol.

You definitely won't regret buying one. So many options to choose from.

I'll have that CP up for sale soon since I got a 2 player one.

I have looked into Blast City's for sure. Are you in FL? If so send me a PM with the info.

Be patient man. You can't find a cab like this instantly in FL, especially not on KLOV. Like I told you, if you want one right now, gotta drive to the West coast. The only dudes who keep active stock of these are over there, and they may not replenish stock every year. You need to wait for one to pop-up if you don't wanna drive or pay freight. Bumping this thread every day isn't gonna do anything.

It would be better to make a monthly WTB post on Craigslist in the areas you're willing to drive to.
