WTB: Caliber .50 joysticks

I have a working board set cheap if you want one.

When researching to see if anyone had any for sale recently I actually saw your thread from a couple of months ago where you had the board and sticks, but it looks like the sticks sold? I wish I'd have been a little sooner; I'd have bought all of it from you. I've got a working board now but no sticks, so another one without the sticks wouldn't get me where I need to be unfortunately :-( I appreciate you mentioning it though

I have about 6-8 yellow snk rotary LS30 sticks if interested

I'd take you up on it if I didn't already have a bunch of LS-30's myself. Just trying to find the elusive green-handled loop 24 sticks so I can play Caliber .50 the way it was meant to be.

Thanks though

There's always the Happ optical sticks if you can't find the Loop-24's...

.

I may end up having to go that route; thanks for pointing those out. If I do I'll still keep looking for the original Caliber .50 sticks just because I *love* how the LS-30's feel, and assume the Loop-24 Seimitsu sticks feel the same.

I'm at the point now where I'd buy a whole Caliber .50 kit to get the sticks if someone had one, or just pay through the yin yang for a pair of these sticks alone. There was one of these sticks on eBay a couple of weeks ago that I just let go when it hit the $15 mark as I didn't have a Caliber .50 board then - I got one almost immediately afterwards and am kicking myself for not picking that one stick up then (though I really want to hold out for a pair of 'em). Needless to say I'm willing to pay a good bit more than $15 a stick now ;-)

You would have loved what I had for sale last year...

Dude, that's *awesome*. Art looks like it's in great condition and you had a nice price on it too! A little too late... story of my life ;-)

How'd the sticks on it feel to you?

I grew up in the arcades, late '70's through late '80's, and while I generally prefer gameplay of games prior to the mid '80's, the rotary sticks on the SNK games always just did something for me. They just feel good to me somehow

Sticks were great. I got lucky to find them too. Someone posted a "for sale" thread with a pic of about 30-40 sticks in a big pile and asked if anyone wanted/needed any of them. Buried in the pile I could just make out two Loop-24's.

Really fun game. Too short, but really fun.

That's great! I need to find a deal like that :)

I haven't played too much into the game just because I'm holding out to find the sticks. Am really looking forward to it...

You said it was short? I never played but am kinda looking for SAR Search and Rescue too - heard the same thing said about it as well.

kinda looking for SAR Search and Rescue too, eh?

Bumparoo. Willing to spend a sick amount of money for the original sticks for this thing. So if you've got some, and are borderline about getting rid of them unless the price is right, let's talk ;-)

Would love to get a kit that included the sticks as well.
