Wtb:bugtrap 8000

Get an HP comparitor. They are much easier to find and do the same thing. Douglas just reproduced the reference cards for them.
I saw a bugtrap on an ops bench years ago. I have not been able to find one, even on ebay.
 
Get a Williams CPU board: 24-position 4116 tester :D

Actually not as crazy as it sounds. Get a known tested working good Williams CPU. Populate 23 of the RAM positions with known good RAM, change the last RAM position to a ZIF socket and you have a 4116 RAM tester.
 
Easier to buy a TRS-80 Color Computer 1 in the old grey case. They used 4k, 16, and 64k DRAMs, depending on the board inside.

You can find 'em cheap.

Buy a cartridge for it, strip the ROM out, burn a diagnostic ROM, and use it to test those 4116s.
