It is the metal part that goes on the bottom of the bezel and on top of the wooden block with the groove that displays the upper instruction card.

Anyone know where I could get one?

Thanks!!

Anyone???

If not, can someone describe to me what it looks like or post a picture or something?

I'm restoring a Donkey Kong right now and have my cabinet pulled apart into pieces.

I'm not sure which piece you're looking for. There is a small metal bar that attaches to the bottom of the bezel and provides a 'lip' to raise and remove the bezel out.

If thats it, I'll be glad to get some pictures of it for you.

If you're looking to buy one, you might look at used bezel auctions - the usually become a permanent part of the bezels after 20+ years.

I think that is the piece. Do you think it is necessary? If I just don't include it will anyone notice or care? The bezel looks like it will sit in that groove just fine and once this thing is together I don't think I'll ever have the need to take it apart.

Thanks!

From what I understand, the modern reproduction bezels are slightly thinner (and therefore Mike's Arcade doesn't carry that piece).

I guess it wouldn't be neccesary ... you could always 'palm' the bezel up if you needed to get it out.
