Rather than hack up my Space Duel or Gravitar control panel, thought I'd throw this out there. Have cash or boards or other vector stuff to trade.

OK, now I REALLY need a Black Widow control panel...

I was using my Gravitar PCB to test the 25" Amplifone I pieced together: www.gauck.com/arcade/Amp25 and got spoiled by the picture, so I finally converted the Space Duel cab where Gravitar sometimes lives to hold a 19" Amplifone (built the plywood frame to mount the tube - template available if anyone needs it). I know I run the risk of being called an Amplifone snob, but I think the picture is way better... almost makes the game feel different. Switching back to Space Duel (after remembering to unplug the control panel adapter that remaps the buttons: www.biltronix.com/space_duel_gravitar_adapter.html - thanks Bill) and that game feels different, too... the ship actually seems more maneuverable and faster. It's weird in a very good way.

Anyway, I also have a working Black Widow PCB that's waiting to share time in this cab. I imagine it will look sweet too... but I want to do more than look! Ain't no adapter to play BW from a SD panel.

I have a 100% working Gravitar (or Black Widow) PCB, Asteroids PCB, Tempest PCB, or Battlezone PCB as trade bait.

Ive been asked a couple times to maek a black widow panel. If theres enough interest, I'd run them..... Would need at least 16 pre pays.

What I would REALLY like is a customized multi-vector panel for horizontal games only... Gravitar, BW, Space Duel and Major Havoc, but I was too slow to get a multi-vector blank. It would have two sticks, roller control, and one set of buttons for Gravitar/single-player Space Duel. Still pondering how to fit it all in.

Then I'd need a VectorLabs backplane/switcher that takes a SD, BW/Gravitar and MH. One of the unused pins on the BW/Gravitar board could be used to bank switch the ROMs to select between BW and Gravitar. Oh, and selectable pincushion correction on the switcher.

That's all.

I'm sure that would be a pretty easy sale, but not sure on the availability of the CPO anymore. I'm still suprised you didn't run these when you did the Vector Multi-panels but you know what they say, better late then never :)

Actually nobody ever asked back then. It wasn't till recently I was asked about them. I'm not sure what Prok has left for them. ( I'm pretty sure he ran BW cpo's at some point)

Steven @ Arcade Shop has confirmed the CPO is in the works... probably just a few weeks away. So go sign up for a new BW panel!
