Well, I'm officially entering the market for a Quantum PCB. I would prefer working, but would pursue any lead. I know these are few and far between, and hence not cheap. If someone out there has one they might consider parting with, or perhaps could point me in the direction of a possible seller, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks very much - Jeff

I think spaeth has at least one but I don't know if he would sell since he has the game too I think..Good luck with PM sometimes he answers and most times he doesn't...

Thanks for the responses. I completely recognize this is a big longshot, but I've got to start somewhere. I did msg Mark, but understand he's gotten busy (more than normal) lately.

That sounds like an awesome vacation; a good reason to be "busy."

I sent a PM that is probably buried in your in-box. If there is any chance you still have a PCB that you might be persuaded to part with, please contact me. Thanks much.

I was about to post a quantum project up.. I have a decent cabinet, pcb, marquee and NOS control panel overlay. I might even be able to swing an amp tube, deflection and HV too.

So if someone wanted to build one, I can also provide the transformer and a wiring harness to tempest..

I really don't want to sell the board or the CP overlay. But if someone was going to buy it to save the cabinet, I would consider selling them.

Bill,

I might be interested, what are you looking to get for the cab. I don't need anything else just the wood -

Louis

I forgot I did offer it to someone who emailed me directly a few weeks ago. I need to figure out if they are still interested in the project. They get 1st shot.

here are cabinet pics.

As for a price, I need to think about it. I think a few sold last year either here or on ebay in the last few years. Anyone know what they sold for?

Also I might be able to provide the buyer with an new bare metal quantum control panel.

A working one was listed here in Houston last fall for $2999. I don't know if that was a serious price or a "ah hell, why not shoot for the moon price". I don't think he got it.

Jeff, you will be looking for that board for the next 10 years. You might as well just buy a fully working Quantum... :)

I think you have a better chance of taking a picture of the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus playing a game of Donkey Kong at the next SC3. :)

Oh yeah... and BUMP!

Seriously man! I really just don't think there are many out there that aren't in a cab already. I've been very close on a board twice now, but can never seem to get the deal done. Still hoping persistance pays.
