I need a new(working) Asteroids Harness for the Cocktail version.

I don't need the harness that go to the buttons, nor the harness that goes to the coin mechs.

But I'm in need of the harness that goes to the PCB board itself. Mine has a short in it somewhere. I get the spot killer light, but I wiggle the connector and it goes away briefly. I'm not sure if it's the connector itself or if there is a wire further back that is broken internally(they zip tie it so damn tight from the factory). So I'm in need of a good working harness. Let me know, if you have one and how much. I don't have a lot of money to spend as this damn thing has sucked a lot of funds as it is. But let me know. Thanks!

LMK! Thanks!

Which connector are you wiggling? You can make a small investment in a molex crimping tool and some pins from Bob Roberts and redo the connectors. Prob cost about what a wire harness shipped would cost.

Since I learned to do Molex plugs the hobby got a lot more fun (since I didn't have to solder or hack-job plugs trying to get them to work)!

You might also want to try cleaning the edge connector on the board - just get one of those brick-style pink pencil erasers from a stationary store and give it a light scrub, you'll be surprised how much crud comes off!

Thats a good Idea with the eraser trick, hadn't thought of that.
However, It's not really the Molex portions that needs replaced. Its the Edge connector to the pcb itself that needs replacement. Need new pins and shell as the plastic is falling apart. And it being a factory harness, it's tight and it doesn't give you much extra room to play with.
