This may be a strange post so I will explain:

I am located in Eastern Iowa and I work for a Amusement Operator. They would like to purchase a large(r) lot of older games (Any Nintendo games, Any older Pinballs, Rampage, PaperBoy, Star Wars.... shoot me a PM with your games) in order to restore them and use them in their office.

They can be working/non-working with monitor issues, board issues or what have you. The only thing is they have to be ORIGINAL/DEDICATED games. They also do not want any Cocktail pieces.

I have been given the ability to use a moving truck of theirs to make such a pickup(s)- but unfortunatley I cannot drive to "X" for one game, then drive to "Y" for another. I need to make as few (as few as 1 or 2) trips as possible to make this work.

If you would like to get ride of a bulk of arcade games Please PM Me.

We are located in Dubuque, IA.

Thanks!

Bump..

Did I mention (Who am I kidding, I know I didn't...) That we would be willing to trade equipment? We have a ton of empty Cabinets, monitors, random games from the 90's and early 2000's. These games will be completly restored to their original working condtion and will enjoy a long and respected life! Please let me know if you have any games not getting their appropriate attention.

Thanks!

If you happen to come across an original Bubble Bobble board/machine let me know as I'll gladly buy it and help you find some other Goodies as a trade. My dad has a lot of connections around the area with Antique dealers and other places that have these old machines laying around. I have a lead right now that I'm looking in to and once I check it out I'd be happy to send you their direction, it's a bit of a drive from Dubuque but nothing terrible.

I actually have a working Romstar Bubble bobble arcade game and a working Bubble Bobble board... PM me and maybe we can do some talking.

It seems odd that an op would have to post to this group to find classic games. Aren't they the ones with all the goodies and the contacts of their counterparts with all of these games in dusty old barns and warehouses somewhere?

You would think that is the case huh. You do have to remember that as an operator they need to make money by deploying games that "earn". When games aren't earning any longer and they have any salvage value (trade, sell, part) that is what usually happens. I wish I could have taken some off their hands, but as far as inventory goes they have very little of anything pre 1990, with the exception of some pacmans, ms. pacs, bubble bobbles... and so on and so forth.

It is a shame when an operator has to go to the boards of collectors but I would see this as an opportunity to cash in on some projects or games that no longer get the attention they deserve. The games couldn't go to a better place! Think about all the space you could have (and cash) to look for the games that interest you.
