In need of a full supported 19" monitor for my afterburner 2. I know it's a medium resolution but unsure of chassis number or what is compatible. I live in Arizona so if you're close I can pickup, otherwise let me know what you have. I might have to bite the bullet and go lcd as atleast afterburner doesn't look bad on them unlike most games do. I've been buying up TVs for a possible tube swap....but nothing has come close to correct.

I have an afterburner upright that has a tube in it. I have no idea of the working order of the tube since I have just used the thing as a parts game since I got it. The After Burner logo is slightly burned in the phosphorous in the tube.

What tube and chassis is it? Curious if what KevsArcade said is correct. If so that makes some things easier. The shipping is always what kills on these tube deals which is why I was hoping someone in Arizona was on here. Let me know what you want for it if interested in letting go....

I have owned 2 stand ups like the one shown. Both came to me with K7000's. In both cases the monitors did not look to be original but worked fine and fit the cab perfectly. I parted one out because the cab was to far gone. I still own the other, the K7000 in it now was tube swapped and the chassis was rebuilt by me. I will try to dig up a pic but the game is currently in an arcade. Another member on here, Pacmandan has seen it and can verify that is does have a K7000 in it.

So, I am having to rewire this whole damn game as some electrical expert on their midnight meth high pulled some weird wiring to this and things aren't working right lol. The shaker motor is on constantly...even on attract mode it shakes then during game play it just shakes a couple times. Not like most where when you crash it goes ape shit. Need to see some pics of others power supplies hooked up and see if mine is correct.....

I have the entire bottom board from an upright cab with the harness still attached removed from a fully working game. I can send you pics of what ever part you need to see. I would be willing to sell it as well if your interested.

Shaker going constantly means the control board has a short, probably that big black relay on top, disconnect the motor or it will burn it out and then you will have 2 issues.

Well it's not constantly shaking.....I meant constantly on in the sense that in attract mode it shakes when the planes hit and such in the demo when it should only do it when playing the game. It's not constantly shaking every second.

Ahh, my bad. What I described does happen to this machine on occasion. What you are describing seems like a pcb issue to me but I'm certainly no expert.

Can you send me a pic of the power supply hookups and the junction box next to it....

Figured it out. Had the shaker motor plugged into the danger light lol, so whenever the danger light came on it activated the motor. Found a better quality electrical diagram.....

Here is the power supply. I haven't looked to far into this game because the 2 I have had were both working but looking at this Im pretty sure one of the small PCB's on this board runs the shaker motor and they appear to be powered from the transformer. The switching power supply is only providing 5 volts and the DC ground most of which goes to the main PCB.
