I need the lock for the coin drawer on my cabinet. And the 2 locks for the top too.

These are the last few things I need to get it to 100%. If anyone could help me out that'd be great. Just give me a price with shipping. My zip is 29745. I have plenty of feedback on ebay under user mhanlen1 and on Digital Press under TheDomesticInstitution in case anyone is a member at either place and needs to see transaction records.

I am still looking for these as of Wednesday July 29, 2009.

user oregonarcade apparently has all the parts you are looking for.

I'm not sure if the joysticks will work for you but there are your coin mech and coin door/drawer.

Thanks a lot, it looks like the joysticks are a match (depending on condition). I just PM'ed him about the stuff. But anyway, until I get a response or find the parts- I'm still looking.

try searching for pdf manuals for those games. it should have an exploded view diagram of the control panel. you should be able to tell if the sticks are compatible. I would think they are, but those are really early nintendo games and only 2way sticks, so they may be completely different.

good luck.

the nintendo cocktail cabs originally used a lock with a key number k6510 for the table top, the uprights used the same key for the back doors. the coin boxes used different keys though. I think someone here was looking into getting these original locks with k6510 keys from overseas, I don't remeber if he was successful.

good luck.

I appreciate the help ElfShotTheFo, and thanks for linking that other sale thread- I'm looking forward to getting the coin mech up and running on mine.

Anyway I'll bump this again, in case someone didn't see the thread last time. I'm mainly interested in the coin door lock right now, if anyone has a replacement. Of course I'd like a set of all three, if it's possible. If someone could even point me in the direction by posting a link to replacements.

Gonna bump this at night in hopes that someone on here has the lock. Is it really that hard to find a lock for the coin door on a Donkey Kong (Nintendo) cocktail? After looking at mine, it appears the one that's on it isn't original anyway.

Alright, off to bed for tonight...

The thing is about the old ones, is they aren't even complete. In fact it may be missing some parts that make the top latch too. I'll have to leek inside a cocktail the next time I come across one, to see what I need. I'm pretty much just focused on the coin door- seeing as my new (to me) coin mech should be here very soon. I know it sounds dorky, but I'd like to be able to pop a few quarters in the machine and play it like it's supposed to be.

Since I've come to find out my lock isn't original, I probably would need to know the specs to take it to a smith. Although I still can't believe that no one has a source for these or that there aren't repros online. I don't want to pay $20 for a single lock, unless I have to.

Would this lock work? I sent him a message to find out if it would work for a Nintendo cocktail. I have yet to get a response, and figured I'd ask here to see if anyone could visually confirm it.
