WTB: 720/Super Sprint/Atari Monitor Glass Bottom H-Molding/Slot

Looking for the t-molding with the gap/slot for the monitor to side into on the 720 machine. Super Sprint is also a machine that has the longer version of this molding if you have a Super Sprint you are parting out. I don't know the exact name, see the pics below. If you happen to know what I'm talking about please let me know :) Here's a pic of the area that the molding is located on, as you can see from mine below it's just a regular piece of t-molding, it should have a space between the wood and the molding for the monitor glass to slide into. Thanks for any help.

i believe what you seek is an "H" channel plastic T molding, and i have not seen it available anywhere - Cossack was also searching for this item and may have more info

If you can't find it, adapt and use something else.

I have something else but it isn't great. I would like the original type of molding so it's more correct. I might have to figure out how to make this molding from a regular h-molding piece that doesn't have the ribbed insert for the slot in the wood. All sucks very much, shocked that this is such a rare/one-off type of plastic.

i believe that atari system 1 and possibly system 2 cabinets also each used a piece of this stuff

other than that it is pretty rare, one would think that some vendor would still have some left

i could be wrong tho

Can you use a used piece? I have one from a Blasteroids that looks the same.

It is used on a whole slew of atari games. The only one that will work is from another 720 or from a super sprint that can be cut down, only ones long enough. All the rest of the games had a shorter piece.

Mark, what did you do for the 720's you made? Did you just find some used ones off old machines like Super Sprint, etc? I updated the thread to have Super Sprint in it just in case someone is parting one out and has this piece.

I have a System 1 piece coming from RobMcRaf that will suffice until I can get the correct size.
