One came up locally in San Diego this week. Was advertised as 100% working. I talked to the guy, determined he didn't have a game to test it with, ran home after work to grab a game, and went to check it out. First issue: monitor did not power at all. Spending the next 45 minutes helping the guy trouble shoot his cabinet, I got a good look at everything that had been hacked, caked crud on the yoke copper wires, and things that may or may not be working, in the effort to get the monitor working, which we never did. Had to pass, even though the price was pretty good. More project than I was ready to take on at the moment.

But, I've been bitten even harder by the bug to get a good candy cab (Aero City, Astro City, Blast City, etc), at a reasonable price.

If anybody has one they're considering of parting with, knowing it's going to a good home and to be part of a good collection, or sees one come up for sale, please give me a shout.

Much appreciated!

Bumping this up cuz I'm back on the hunt. Right after posting this, some financial hardships hit, delaying the effort. A fellow member reached out to me via PM, who is in the Los Angeles area. If you're still out there, please hit me up via PM, want to see if we can arrange a meet-up within the next couple of weeks.

Anybody know of any good leads on candy cabs in the So Cal area? Help a brother out! Just looking to get one in my collection for personal use and to make it my daily player for my CPS-1/CPS-2 collection so I don't have to climb behind my big blue every time I want to change games.
