The monitor in my beatmania machine crapped out today. I was debating throwing in an lcd but due to a large outcry from the local community about my efforts to put in an lcd instead of an arcade monitor I would now prefer to have a arcade monitor installed. I am willing to take a whole cabinet if necessary to get the machine to have a new monitor. I can install either a 27 inch monitor on 29 inch monitor inside the machine. I would prefer 29 as its the normal size of the monitor but I am willing to take anything, especially if its cheap.

Please be somewhere near the west chicagoland area. I am willing to drive for a bit to get the monitor but not hours and hours away.

Thanks!

that game drives vga......
why not just throw in an lcd and be done with it. if u put another heavy 29" monitor in it, that will just fail soon as well. even when they are repaired, they fail again and again.

They run Med res, not VGA. A converter card would be needed to run a vga monitor.

-bump- I got a U5000 but its giving me a hard time so I am looking for alternative options. We actually fixed the beatmania machine's monitor so this one will be going into my DDR machine. The game runs at 15khz, so please make sure your monitor is capable of running that!

I would be willing to trade my U5000 for a discount on another monitor as well.
