OMG i just about fell off the chair! wettin ma pants here. i didnt think there would ever be any around. WHOO HOO! sorry a bit excited there.

seriously now, ummm dimensions. ok, planning to do one of the following:
-williams sinistar cab (skinnier),
-williams robotron cab, or
-1942 romstar/capcom cab.
but happy with whatever size marquee(s) you've got. depends on the marquee is spose
is this a silk screened plexi marquee ? please post a pic!

also, do you happen to have one of these cabs in original form or was it a conversion kit only ?

Many thanks,

Andy

As far as I know these marquees were a sticker only... Although for my one its luckily been put on clear plexi rather than an existing marquee. Dont have it to hand to measure mine for you but i can tell you its taller than a wms marquee in a sini etc.

However from this picture you can see they made one fit as sini/roby:

Ive been searching for years for that cpo and monitor bezel :( And never seen one) : a colour version (although its a b&w cpo) is at:

I do, however have NOS sideart as pictured (still with protective coating), plus decals for the kit advertising it plus for each of the buttons.

I'm sorry none of this is for sale, but if and when I find the cpo I can then apply the artwork and therefore scan it (cant with the premask fitted) if you want to go the repro end for sideart (Ill check as i possibly have a 3rd one thinking about it now)

Good to compare notes!
Cheers Rav

rav,

til i can get nos sideart, i would love to do a repro so if you have a third i am interested!

love to get photos of the decals and advertising stuff too!

Yeah ill take a picture or two in the next couple of days...
I could scan my 1942 marquee i guess...
Also did measure it today - 9' high by 25' wide

that'd be great! the other marquee offered in an earlier post is the capcom version, so keen on the williams version even if i have to get a repro done!

many thanks!

interesting. Defender is 24 7/8 wide, stargate 24 3/8.

did you measure it at exactly 25" or was that approximately 25" ? (just wondering if it is oversize and needs trimming, or a snug fit into a defender/stargate/robotron etc cab.)

doesnt matter that much when doing a repro anyway as i can resize it for printing!
