WTB: 19" MEDIUM RES MONITOR

I picked up a tri-res CRT monitor from Billabs about 6 months ago that works well in my Toobin'--did you try them?

http://www.billabs.com/crts.htm
Model: BL19C90T

Interesting link. They sell new 27" monitors as well that looks like it would synch up with my Gauntlet Legends game if I ever wanted to replace it.

Can't imagine how expensive that would be, especially if I have to ship it. Crap, 100lbs!

*bump*

I am still looking for a 19" medium res monitor or a medium res tube/yoke compatible with a K7000 medium res chassis.

I believe NeoTec still has new 19" Med Res they're trying to get rid of. They're not listed on their site but still had some when I called the other day (I ordered a tri-sync, but they said they had the 19" Med Res still in stock that they're trying to move. I opted for the Med Res. Haven't received it yet so I can't comment on how it looks, etc). Try giving them a call. They'll probably be around $350 or so.

If not, NeoTec also has a 19" Tri Sync. You may need the old monitor frame for a Paperboy cab for the Tri Sync.

I would stay away from the WG 19" tri sync. I had nothing but problems with WG's 'tech support' and that thing.

I do have a yoke for a K 4915, but it will be a little while before I can get to it.

Re: WTB: Yoke for 19" K7000 compatible tube

Yeah, I know...and I actually managed to acquire an APB to rip the monitor from to use on the Paperboy, but that still leaves me with an A.P.B. with no monitor for right now...

...and I have a K7000 chassis... and I have a K7000 tube (likely good)... I just need a K7000 YOKE really and if I manage to find one, I may be able to get this sucker up and running for pretty cheap.

So I guess my request has changed to WTB: Yoke for 19" K7000 compatible tube.

Re: WTB: Yoke for 19" K7000 compatible tube

Mariosim has one, in the Out Run he is parting out. K7000 Yoke

Different though...that is a K7000 standard resolution monitor. I need a yoke from a medium res tube. Thanks though!

Re: WTB: Yoke for 19" K7000 compatible tube

Nope...

I know for $239 I can get a new one, but I'd really like to get this one here going rather than shit-can the tube, etc.

Re: WTB: Yoke for 19" K7000 compatible tube

Does anybody know the Wells 7000 #'s for medium res monitors. I think WG7915, WG7935, WG7635 (?) are all medium res. Are there any others, or confirm those. I have stacks of tubes in their frames. Most are scratched to hell, or have broken necks, or labeled with color gun shorts. The problem is...the circuit boards are long removed. 19" WG7000 all look the same without the circuit board. I keep saying I'm going to sort through these, remove the yokes, and toss all the broken tubes. Frizz, give me some numbers and I'll check and see if I have one. I might as well start the clean up this weekend.

There should be a gold colored label on the yoke, about the size of a "price tag"... I will get the numbers from mine today and post them.

Re: WTB: Yoke for 19" K7000 compatible tube

I am still looking for a compatible tube and/or yoke. The tube I need is a 19" A48ACB24X or compatible medium resolution tube with a 10-pin neck. The yoke I need has a model number 982917-001 on it (mine is on a gold sticker about the size of a price tag).

Any/all help is greatly appreciated.

$234.00 shipped for a new 19" medium res. monitor....doesn't sound too bad.

Edward

I just called Billabs. They're now quoting me $220.00 for the monitor and shipping will be "around $50.00". I mentioned that a friend was quoted $195.00 and $39.00 shipping about 2 weeks ago... she said she'd have to check with a few people and will get back to me.

Wonderful.

Welp they relented and offered it to me for $195.00 but shipping is $51.24 instead of $39.00 as quoted above. Now, I supposed that is OK being the quote above was to New Hampshire, not Idaho...I can see Idaho being an extra 12 bucks or so... I think I am going to pull the trigger. I'll have one of the most expensive Paperboys out there, but what the hell, I don't plan on selling it anytime soon.

No worries Frizz. My 25" med res monitor issues have netted me one of the most expensive 720s out there
