Wrestlefest jamma in dedicated 4 player x-men not working

I plug in the Wrestlefest board and the board works and I get picture and sound. the issues is that that 2 smaller plug ins (there are 3... 1 big and 2 smaller) don't seem to fit. They are bigger than what they need to plug into on the wrestlefest board. Those appear to control the coin mech (and maybe the controlls). I know I sound like an idiot but I just got the game and really want to be able to play Wrestlefest (it was the main reason I got the game). They are both listed as jamma+. Am I screwed or is there a way to make it work?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Looking at the manual found at the bottom here, just do a search for wrestlefest and you will see that board only needs the two 9 pin connectors hook up to it. The other board I have not looked at the manual for it but I bet the connections are different. You should be able to play the game without the other two connectors hooked up as they are for the 3rd and 4th player controls. It is on page 9 of the manual.

Pics to know what your talking about for sure, but the two small harnesses for xmen are for players 3 and 4 sticks and buttons. You could cut the wires from the harness and wire them individually or just try to buy the correct harness and wire it up that way.

You are indeed correct. I found the manual online for Wrestlefest and the other 2 harnesses are for the 3rd and 4th player. I am just trying to figure out how to start wrestling. The x-men cab doesn't have free play so I just have to open the coin door and push the coin mech down. And their is no start button like the manual shows. Maybe it is the mutant power button.... No it isn't that mutant power button

It is in the manual on page 8 is the pin outs and if you ground pin u,17 or 24 that should get you started.

u is for start 2....probably player 2

17 is for start 1 and probably player 1

and finally 24 is for the 2playrs vs cpu

solder side is the letters and numbers are the compoents. look to the right side of page 8. it expains it better. You just ground the pin of the one you want to start.
