So..I have a blue Nintendo cab that was a Popeye converted to a Lee Trevino Golf. I've decided that I want to turn it into a Wreck-It Ralph. Anyone know where I start? Is anyone making the artwork? I assume the game internals are just a PC running an emulation or just a program. Where can I get the program?

Or..is it even possible for anyone outside of Disney to do it? Should I contact them? Would they help me do the conversion if I put the game on location in a theater for awhile?

The game is not public domain. You'd have to recreate it yourself, use the flash vers (BAD), or use the iOS app.

Ok.. so how are most people hooking up an iOS app to run? I have zero knowledge on how to do that..and definitely no programming flash skills.

Contact Disney? Just wait someone will have a download of the game eventually and if you don't let Disney know what you're doing you might not get sued

My question is, are you guys building with vertical monitor setups or horizontal? The game is quite clearly a vertical style game, but all promo games I have seen build by Disney were horizontal and a few other references I've seen of it are horizontal (which is wrong!). Which way would it be preferred to make it?

While I am taking the kids to see the movie saturday, I don't see why everyone wants to make their cabinets into this fake game. Why not make it back into popeye? That game is actually good, or how about dk?

I'm Mitt Obama and I approve this message.

Maybe somebody will get industrious and code it to run on the Uzebox JAMMA board......;)

Or wait until it is included on the next revision of the 184-in-1 Chinese hack board.

I took my daughter to see it today, and she really wants a Fix it Felix Jr now......
I wonder what Disney is using in those machines at Quest?

First thing my daughter said after watching the movie, can we get a fix it felix game??? grrrr.....can hardly get them to play joust or robotron but fix it felix they will play all day long....oh well, anyone have some chinese connections that can create a jamma pcb with the game?? better yet, how about the phoenix pcb? I am sure they would not like the interest generated from outsiders but I bet it would boost sales amongst the members here...

My daughter has been bugging me for the same thing for months. I would love to accommodate her but empty beat-up Nintendo cabs don't grow on trees. :)

I have a project cab I need to do something with anyway.........but I would trade a nice DK for a nice FIFJ already done to save the trouble. :)

I just bought a Nintendo cab for 30 bucks. Used to be a DK cab, converted to some shitty basketball game and I want to do a Fix it Felix, but am trying to hold out to see if anyone is gonna make a board eventually. I dont wanna run a Mame cab.

I examined doing it on a Uzebox, and from what I can tell, programming this game on that hardware, would REALLY be pushing it on its limitations for graphics, if you want it to look as good as it does on the flash/iOS/movie game. Writing it in something like Python would probably be the most reasonable route to go.

Why not? The original game probably didn't have a PCB:" Oh, wait there wasn't an original dedicated game...

Why the desire to put them in DK/Popeye cabs? Throw it in an old Dynamo hunk of shit you have laying around. I don't understand whats happening here with people treating this like its an actual, collectible old game.
