Wowser!

What I want to know is who buys a full Tron art kit, installs it, installs part of it wrong, then drops in a 60 in 1 board.

The seller took the single most money chomping reverse conversion around, spent most of that money and finished it up with a $49 circuit board.

Nevermind, googled his username. He uses his same username/email on drug user message boards and in multiple reviews of "medical marijuana". This explains everything.

That would be our very own tim the arcade guy. search for him on klov, you will find lots of other monstrosities and stories, and even people here defending him.

edit: oh look, and here's his klov partner-in-crime doing similar: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NICE-MS-PAC...594?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a26890dc2

I met him. He sold me my Blitz99 arcade.. He just wants to keep a revolving door situation with arcades.. He likes to buy them cheap and sell them for not much more than he got them for and isn't interested in making any changes or fixing them up or any of that.. He's actually a really nice guy.

hahahahahaha you poor dumb sap

Excuse me? This one he's selling isn't cheap.. but who knows what he bought it for.. I got my Blitz for a great price. I can't speak for what he's selling now (too lazy to look) but when I was at his place about 2 years ago he was selling games like really nice original pac-man and burger time each for the $300-350 range. That's pretty good to me... Either way, there are better ways to hold a conversation than whatever it is you tried to do there. You must be from Sherman Oaks =)

Trust me.. Tim doesn't "do" anything to the arcades that he sells.. He doesn't know how..

Quote from the auction:
"Has all new artwork, including inside around the monitor, but i did NOT do a great job cutting that art to fit."
and
"I FOUND ALL THESE PARTS INDIVUALLY ON EBAY AND SPENT MANY WEEKS BUILING IT UP FROM PLAIN WOOD. SANDED, BONDO'D, SANDED SOME MORE & PAINTED. (SIDES ROLLED, FRONT SPRAYED) LAID NEW ART & T MOLDING."

So he bought ~ $250 worth of art (if it's Phoenix) and installed it poorly. Also, I don't think that shroud artwork is new. If it is, it has to be NOS as I don't think any reproduced the shroud artwork on the 'thick' stock that came originally and actually cracks -like his has. The paint does look decent from the pics, though.

Dudes mom sanding the side of that one cab in her sweatsuit. Love it.

That is actually his wife. Wayne is 70+ years old. He has been working with games for a long time. He is not shy about putting her to work doing the cabinets. I bought a 60/1 from him, and she helped him deliver the damn thing. Talk about dedication...
