Wow...and not in a good way.

If I had a butt wad of money, I'd buy it. If only to ask for endless software support, which I'm sure that cab would need...

And how the hell are you going to game up that close on a 55" screen, that's just ridiculous. I hooked up a 39" LED TV to my PC and that was already pushing it at that viewing distance.

I saw some video a while ago with one of these things in it. The screen marquee is like that to change from game to game.

I was actually torn about this machine. I would of course never buy one, but if someone gave it to me, I'd probably keep it...but it would be tucked away in my bedroom for no one to see. Its a monstrosity, but could be a guilty pleasure.

When they were scrolling through games on it, it did look like a blast to play. The screen is huge and super bright and it has like every game known to man. Not just arcade games either. Its kind of cool.

Only problem, is the control panel looks the best it can I guess, for needing that many buttons, but still looks like shit. I usually dont like Mame cabs at all. I think a PC in an arcade cab is the same concept as shoving a playstation 3 in an arcade cab. Dont like the idea.

Its alright to me if people build some whack job machine with a 6' long control panel with 12 joysticks and 73 buttons as long as they don't do it to a dedicated game. Build what you will but leave the classics out of it

+1

That 55" screen is too close and up in your face. Would anyone sit that close to a 55" TV and watch it? I don't think so.

Wow Jace Hall may have been behind awesome games like Blood at Monolith Software, but geeze he has terrible taste in cabs.

shit, i can build a functional mame with a bunch of emulators and thousands of games in an old jamma cab that actually looks and functions like an actual arcade game for about 1/100th of that price.
