on the west coast you cant get 300 for a working one.
wholesale for non working is 50-100 range
But didn't you just try to sell just a bunch of parts for over $200?

There's a working Donkey Kong on eBay in Cullman for $350.

Seller ended listing early with no bids. Did anyone local on here buy it?
VERY INTERESTING! I put a bid on this whenit ended a couple of weeks back. The winning bidder was a no-show, so it was offered to me as the backup bidder for $461. I told the seller that I wasn't comfortable paying the backup bidder price when the person that I was bidding against wasn't really willing to pay (almost like a shill driving the price up). I told him that I would pay him $400, and he was insulted. He told me that he has already moved to Florida and that his wife is still up here with the games and he can't bring them down to where he has moved. He was a little bit of a jerk about it, but after talking with people on here (in this particular thread even!), I didn't feel like paying more than $400. He said he would just store it, but I knew that he would end up re-listing it. NOBODY had bid on it, and the auction was going to end tomorrow morning. I think that he got cold feet because there were no birders (his buy it now price IS $900, after all...) and he didnt want someone like me to get it for $400 or less (especially before fees, since I made him a cash offer).
The "other" DK that I started this thread about was a non-working machine in Birmingham that a friend of mine found at a yard sale. I think that (from his description) it was in a DK Jr. Cabinet, based upon the fact that he THOUGHT that it was in an orange cabinet. I don't know why he didn't take some pictures to text me from his iPhone. Anyhow, he hasn't heard from the guy (or his "life partner") with the one from the yard sale. He wanted $500 for it, non working. Like I said, these games seem to be a bit harder to come by around here...

It's definitely a regional thing.
I bought mine working for $250, and the monitor is bright and crisp, even. I got lucky, but they usually go for around $300-$400 working here in AZ.
Question is, is it worth $300 to you?
... only a 10 hour trip ...
