Would you drive a game 7 hours each way for this?

Sounds like a fair deal. The club 33 is interesting, but if funds are tight, totally something you could live without.

If you could tie it into delivering another game and or hauling 1 or 2 back, then maybe. If not, its hard to justify the expenses with a family to make the trip. Now if you could get the disney tickets and say $150..

Well the food is apparently included in the price. We are leaning toward doing it. The club seems pretty swanky though. Not sure how the boys will do there. It could be fun to see all the ritzy folks giving us the eyeball though.

The kids meal there costs more than it costs for our entire family to eat out at what we normally consider a fancy place. :)

Or I could hold the Sundance game hostage and see how long it take Greg to sue my butt.

I would drive 7 hours each way to avoid going to Disneyland.

*Ding Ding Ding*

I was run over by the Jolly Trolley in Toon Town back in 95 or so.

Happiest place on earth my ass!!!!

I shoulda sued Mickey.

I'm still wanting to buy the Lock n Chase that Robotron Jon has for sale... let me know if you'd be willing to pick it up for me (in L.A.), I could meet you along I-5, probably Kettleman City. I don't have alot of extra cash, but I could offer $75 for your time/gas.

We haven't decided for sure if we are going to do this but if we do, I'd be open to it. As long as the logistics all worked out without being to disruptive.

Since it seems you have to do this anyway (I have no idea what's really going on but just kinda put things together) I'd be all over this. You have a chance to do something that very few will ever be able to do (Club 33).

Personally for me, it's just a cab and WITH all that has happened, this is an awesome thing to get.

Again, I'm just guessing but if I'm right......DO IT!!!!

I know this will sound crazy to most people and to me it's the same, but I'd give up all of my cabs (not that I have anything of value) to get in to 33 just to make the wife and kids happy.

Well I don't have to deliver the game. Greg can come pick it up if he wants. The owner decided to back out of his deal with me and sell it to Greg instead which was his right as the owner. I was pretty cranky about it at first but oh well.

My boys have only been to Disneyland once and that was years ago so it's certainly tempting from that standpoint. I have mixed feelings about Club 33 since it seems pretty pretentious. My family are simple folk. But being Beverly Hillbillies for a day might be fun in a way.

It was just offered up as a potential alternative to him having to pay someone else to deliver it. Creative thinking on his part. He's a shrewd dude.

I would not move that game one inch and risk the chance of being blamed for anything that happens to it. Not worth it imho. Let him pick it up himself.

Yeah, that occurred to me as well. And I thought about what would happen if one of you guys stole it from my on the way down. :)

That gives me an idea... all I need now is/are the date(s) you will be traveling, and a map of the route...

A description of your vehicle would be nice, too, although I'm sure I can dig it up here somewhere :D

It looks like this trip is going to be a go. I'd consider picking up and dropping off a game but only if it's extremely convenient. If I was on my own I wouldn't mind going out of my way but with the whole family in tow I don't want to make them sit in the car for an extra hour or something.

I would bail on the Club 33 deal. Not that great, with the kids and Down Town Disney right there you have a ton of better options. ESPN Zone with mini bowling and some new arcades ect. Many other fine dinning places. Just my opinion, but I am only a chef so what do I know. LOL

Yeah but I would have to PAY for those.... :)

Oh, I didn't know someone was picking up the Club 33 tab. Hell yeah go. The ticket just gets you in, It is invite only, the meal price varies between 50-100 a person. I thought you might just get in and hang at Disneyland and then eat somewhere else.

It would all depend if the game works well. And that it is in good condition.

Club 33 tix gets you into Disneyland for free and into the club, but you do pay for the food and drink. It is expensive. My old company was a member. Anyone in the company could go. I never did because I hate Disneyland but I regret it now. I suggest bringing your own food and ordering light at club 33.
