would this camera stand work for my kodak?

I like the gorrilapod style myself

They give you the option of a wider base (more stable) and you can manipulate the angles for better shots

Geez, 99 cents with free shipping? How can that even be possible? Anyway, I guess it depends on how you plan on recording and the shape of your cabinet. It might work for a cocktail table, but I'm not sure how you'd do it on an upright. When I recorded a game, I used a full sized tripod, and set it up on my left, so 2 of the legs straddled the corner of the cab, and aimed the camera at the screen. That seems to be how most people I see recording their games (at places like Funspot) do it.

will most likely fit your camera but that thing is probably pretty short. Like 6in tall. I think I have one of that size around. Pretty sure you can buy a much taller one for pretty cheap at wal mart. Although even the wal mart one might not be as tall as you want if you plan to use it to record a game.

thanks, I will look at walmart.

I do want one that goes 4 or 5 feet tall if possible.

the walmart one I have stands about 3' 5" to where the camera mounts. It's built for smaller light weight cameras not older style or anything too heavy. If you want to borrow either of the stands I have you are welcome to. I believe walmart had other options BTW I just bought the cheapest one.

A full size tripod should extend to almost 6 feet (so the camera is at eye height for the average person), and the top where the camera mounted can tilt and rotate so you can adjust the angle to wherever you want it. You should be able to find a cheap one for about $20 or $30. It won't have smooth panning (mine doesn't), but it should work ok for what you want to use it for (mine mostly gets used for still photography, and works good for that)
