So I do not have any experience in restoring arcade cabinets but happened to stumble across this locally. I am pretty handy and I am okay with electronics/wiring. Basically I am just looking for some assistance in assessing the cabinet.
The Parts it DOES have, that I know are important to the build:
*SOME internal wiring like the main box that you plug your main wall into, but not much past that or the top light..
*all its art with minor edge damage and a few cuts and scrapes (in the last pictures.)
*its t-molding is mostly intact but a little dirty- a section on the back left of the joystick/button deck is missing, but most of it is still there, uncracked and decently tight.
*the buttons, joysticks and wiring still looks all intact, tho i haven't had time to clean the 2 sticky buttons in red and green. they aren't 'limp' just kinda sticky finger kid-sticky.
*the top light still works. i used another plug that is not included to plug directly into just the light wiring to check it. the glass, artwork and box for the bezel is complete. the box is a little dinged along the edges like the rest, but still has full movement to lift for display or lower for lower ceilings. .
*back panel, no keys.
*front door plate Cover, plus the double door change system. no lock/keys included.
Here is a link for images: http://imgur.com/a/BekhB
-How much would it be worth in its current state? (Seller is asking 100 for cabinet)
-Level of difficulty for the restoration?
-Some tips possibly if you do think it would be a nice investment..
Thank you for the help in advance. I am new to this scene but really looking forward to getting involved. Any and all help, helps
