I've been seeing a local Route 16 machine for sale for $100... no pictures of the cabinet or anything shown though. Listed as working, but "takes a few minutes to warm up".

Should I bother asking him for pictures of the cabinet? Or is this something I should pass on?... I played it in MAME and actually enjoyed it, should that be enough to make me want to buy it though?

Yeah... I emailed the guy to get pictures of all 4 sides of the cabinet and the monitor (just to be anal... I have several replacement monitors here... just like to know what I'm getting into.)

Hopefully he still has it and it's it good shape. I have enough projects right now that require too much wood work. Replacing the bottom 1' of Pole Position and Galaga, bondo work with Robotron, filling holes on the "Jungle King" cabinet, plus I might be getting in a mess with this Kangaroo I'm thinking about getting. If there's more than a few dents and dings, I'm afraid I'll have to pass.

We'll see.

Okay, got the pictures. It's a little rough... will need some work, but still... I liked the game when I played it in MAME. I should be going to pick it up tomorrow, weather permitting.

Okay, got her. Well, she's paid for. Just gotta go pick her up when the weather is better... it's been raining here for the past few days.

But anywho... I was really happy when I got the pictures, he did a great job of taking pictures of everything.

So... it's just become one of the cleanest machines I own now... plus I finally got a cocktail! Yay! New dinner table!!

And since there are no cocktail images of the machine on KLOV, I guess I'll have to get some good pictures of her when I get it set up back here.

Actually Route 16 is one of the three full size video games I have in my collection...(I have mostly cabarets)....I LOVE playing it....its quite a challenge!! You got a GREAT deal!! Todd from TNT Amusements

Yeah, I really liked it too... at first it just felt like a Pac ripoff... but when you really start getting into it, it's really fun and VERY challenge'ng... the random mazes, the cars AI, and until I get used to it... the bouncing off the walls? Ugggg... If only the music didn't make me want to kick a baby (more than usual).

Anywho, it's paid for, I should be picking it up either tonight or tomorrow. Since my truck is down for engine problems right now, I'll just have to use the Jeep. Lucky it's a cocktail... should be able to fit it in the Jeep.
