Like stupid dumbass I TRIED to carefully check the exact voltage of the fan wiring on my Space Harrier so that I could get the optimal fan with sufficient cooling and lowest noise level (I know, it'll only make a few decible difference). I guess I twitched a little and I touched the f*cking wires together like a total idiot. Needless to say I'm incredibly pissed at myself for being so stupid for not taking one extra minute to perform this in a safer fashion and for being so anal about fan noise that I even performed this virtually pointless test.

This cabinet had a beautiful monitor that appears to be from 2004 and it'd kill me if it was completely dead. Is there any hope of reviving it? The tube appears to be getting zero power obviously.

check the fuese on the chassis and in the cab in general. Odds are it's totally fixable.

I was a little encouraged just now when I realized that the fan power source is no longer active. It very well be the power source and not the anything on the chassis. Problem is my back is injured at the moment and I'm restricted from kneeling/crawling. I just checked the fan because it was one of the few arcade-related tasks I can do at the moment.

Thanks for the tip.

Well, I painfully checked the 4 fuses by the power supply, they're the only 4 I found in the cab outside of the monitor chassis (Im not physically capable of pulling it out right now). One of the fuses is toast, the other 3 appear intact. Hopefully that's the only thing that went out.
