I posted several weeks back about a friend of a nighbor who picked up a World Cup Soccer pin (http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=215375). Seems they are having some trouble onpower-up and thought those of you familiar with this title could help with any tips/hints. Obviously I can do what the error message suggests and do some basic t-shooting, but wondered if this was maybe a common thing. Thanks in advance!

On the power driver board in the head, are voltage test points. Labeled things like TP5o for 50 volts, TP12 for 12 volts.

Check the fuse for your opto power and see if you lost 12 volts.

You may have just blown a fuse, or may have had the 12 volt bridge rectifier fail on that board.

LTG :)

Thanks for the tip - I won't get to this machine until later this week, so any additional advice hereby solicited and welcome!
