I listed this a few weeks ago and the prospective buyer didn't want to spend that much for shipping, so here's your chance again.

Fully working Atari Red Baron, the monitor has ZERO burn in and I've gone over the boards reflowing every header pin (resolder, remove, reflow) and it's running rock solid.

The bad: this cab is presentable but has seen it's share of water, much of which was from a rain storm when the previous owner left it in his pick-up overnight. It's funky and has surface rust here and there on some metal parts. It's still solid but has swelling along the front edges and some texturing on the sides.

The good: it works! and depending on how picky you are, you could enjoy it as is or do a full transplant of the guts into another cab. IIRC the EAROM isn't saving high scores, but otherwise it's 100% working.

Originally I was asking $500 which is the value of the boards & monitor, but I'd rather move it along to another collector quickly so "make me an offer". I can shrink wrap it and wait for NAVL, but prefer pick-up & cash, who knows? you might find a bunch of other stuff you can't live without :)

Here's a Photobucket link to my pictures:

And here's a few uploaded for you guys goofing off at work where Photobucket is blocked:

Mike, I was all ready to send you paypal funds for the game and shipping until I saw the part about the water. :-(

I can edit that part out okay?

:)

It's not horrible, I just don't want a disappointed buyer; I'd much rather the buyer say to themselves, "this is actually better than I expected".

regardless the water. awsome price. all you need is a battlezone cab, rich makes the side art. Definitly an awesome game, i love mine :)

quarterarcade just sold a board set for 400.00...

Yea, I hear ya Mike. I'm from California so we have cars with no rust that are 60+ years old. Guess we're just spoiled!

Good price regardless. The boards are increasingly difficult to come by without needing to spend time on the bench repairing them. I would pull the trigger if I did not need pay for shipping all the way out to ca.

That's a rare opportunity. I have a Red Baron in almost the same condition. The cab is restorable since the water damage is all in the white. You'll have to scrape out the damaged wood, put some wood hardener in to stabilize what is left, then bondo to fill. Repaint the white. Not a big deal.

Repairing a wood cabinet is easy. Finding a working Red Baron game is not not not.

This is now sold and at it's new home. Thanks to all for the PM's and interest.

Next up: Dragons Lairs! (four of em')
