I've been asked to work on some custom Pacman art pieces for a project. Of them are some re-works and re-arrangements, nothing crazy. The first one was tough because it involved using Illustrator which prior to me using it, I never used Illustrator. Definately is a bit of a pain.

The original AI file looks to be by StrainedSky from here:

Changed a bit to look like this:

The other part I did was to work on the Bezel, but didn't end up using Illustrator, but instead used Fireworks to totally reconstruct the bottom portion. It involved measuring the dimensions of all of the pieces I would be making, and converting them all to pixels. The only thing I am concerned with is that I do not know the Hex code for the blue on the bezel, since I did a recreation without using a source file. Would it be the same color as the Blue ghost on the CPO?

Anyways here this is too:

The plan is using a Pacman CP...2 buttons and a shoehorning a 3" trackball in there. Never did like the feel of the smaller track balls and it seems there's always 3" stuff laying around. P1 and P2 button are in 'stock' location. The trackball will be slightly of center due to it's size

Here's what it looks like so far with most of the mud work done..joystick should be here today. Fellow KLOVer John is doing the printing for me on some vinyl

I color matched the blue ghost on the PNG of the CPO I had exported from Illustrator, which came out to #7CB1E0. So I hope it will match the color on the Bezel. Since these pieces are only to replace the damaged part. I hadn't found the AI on that other site with all the other Pacman vectors until after, so I kinda feel silly that I took the effort to recreate the entire thing.

Updated Color part for the left side of the Bezel

Right side with the game list with a Pacman game pattern in the background.

And I figured I'd scan the "work" sheet I used to figure out the sizes and spaces of everything. Since I used a tape measure to figure things out, I had made that error for #7 and mismeasured ;) Well this is one of those "giving away secrets moments" but whatever.
