Working Atari Amplifone Monitor (Star Wars, Major Havoc, Quantum & Others

Just got this Amplifone monitor rebuilt and is working 100% now. These monitors are very hard to get and I never seen one of these for sale, so I'm going to do the make an offer thing, if that doesn't work I'll just throw it on Ebay. This is for pick up only since these monitors don't come with frames. Monitor mounting brackets are included. (THIS HAS BEEN SOLD)

This is the best vector monitor made for vector games and the correct one to use in a Star Wars
Games that use this monitor that I know of

Star Wars
Major Havoc
Quantum
Gravitar
Space Duel

Talk to Pat Dannis. He shipped me an Amp tube bolted right to another frame like a G07 or something and stuck that in like a vision pro box with it's molded styro. Worked like a charm. Just sayin' it is possible to do it safely. :)

Good lord, man. You were the one that posted that someone's Atari Disco monitor was worth some serious coin. A working Amp for $500 is not a crazy price. A working deflection board for one just sold for around $250 on ebay. Heck, I sold a minty 6100 with a perfect tube, all original, for a bit more than that.

Sorry I haven't been able to reply to anyone all day. I been at a rehearsal all day for a show I'm going to have Dj tomorrow. Thanks for the offer, but I really think this is worth a little more than that. I sell my rebuilt 6100 for about $400 and this on is much better than a 6100 and very rare to come by rebuilt & working. Some people might think its a lot to spend on a monitor or games, but like any hobby it all depends on how much your willing to spend on things you like or want. Its great to find $50 games & monitors, which I'm sure most of us have. Its also great when you find a game or monitor you been looking for forever even if the cost is up there.

Crazy? It was $500. Some might think it's crazy, like my wife, for one. :D

I think it's appropriate, given the tube's condition.
