Thanks Jeff for a great deal! Only took 7 years but Gauntlet II is now in my garage!! Yipee!

Yea friends and I were planning some beer and KFC with a few games but it was just so bloody hot we called it off. Outside in the driveway playing it I was sweating like a pig. This HAS to end sometime.

There was one at the Dallas auction. No idea what it went for as I didn't go today till it was over to collect my small check for the item I brought, Guy said it was the worst auction they have had in Dallas.

hahah, thanks Adam. You seriously need to get a Xenophobe. You have a one track mind. :D

How it happened was girls asking me if I was cheap for drinking busch light the night before - wtf is up with that? I buy it for the 0/low carbs. Best I can find. Trying to lose a few pounds. I placed a bet that the beers a friend mentioned were not sold just anywhere. No Speedway has the carbs I'm looking for other than Busch light. Bud 55 and another he suggested. So anyhow, I paid the gas after we got back (being we took his van -rainy- rather than my pickup) and he called my bet. I said, whatever, either one, his choice. He searched and found bud 55.
So we get to homebase, unload my baby, fire it up and he offers me a bottle. After I took a few swigs of the swill, he says I probably haven't drunken this is 30 years. I'm like --huh? What you talking about Willis? Tells me it's 3.2 beer.
At that point - I was like-take your nearbeer and go home. Man I got SWINDLED!!! :D
It was too hot outside to do anything really, we were planning a bucket of KFC and some beers, but - just too darned sticky and not going to waste my time with 3.2 beer.
We had a darned good time, as much as one can be had DRIVING 250 miles but I'm just pleased as punch to finally get something apparently so hard to find in the Ohio Valley.

Sorry to hear that man. The auction house that used to come to Ohio has completely abandoned us, matter of fact I think they went out of business. Sucks to come into it late when auctions are nearly over. I've only been to one in Toledo and it was my first experience so I never registered for a ticket/bidder. Was meeting Troy there. It was in my neophyte stage where I didn't realize that buying parts on Ebay meant paying hundreds to thousands more than buying one complete cabinet. Harder than hell at this stage to deconvert at Ebay prices. Would dearly love to bring back the classics, but these Epay guys are completely off their rocker.
