Hey all, I just wanted to start a thread for those on the East Coast from Southern NY/NJ, PA, MD, VA, all the way down to FL who may be looking for a great, fast, super affordable shipping option for their pins, vids, etc.

David and Caroline Woody are owner/operators of Woody's Haul'n Ace and are amazing!!

They are super competitive in their pricing, offer substantial discounts for more than one item, are in my experience 50-75% faster than the national companies, and have amazing communication throughout the entire process.

They have experience with pins, vids, jukes, you name it!!

If you're considering buying or selling a pin and distance and time is an issue as it is for many of us, I'd highly recommend giving them a call!

Caroline is super responsive and will be in constant communication with you from setup to delivery and David will be in touch from pickup, along the entire route (enables location sharing), all the way up until delivery.

I know personally we've been able to both purchase as well as sell games that we may not have otherwise been able to because of the distance of the deals!!

If you're looking for a pickup or delivery I'd highly recommend them and their services!!

As an aside, I'm not being paid nor am I a relative etc, just a super satisfied customer that wanted to pass along their info and my experience!!

I've used Woody and Caroline to haul five games to PA from NC and FL on three different runs over the past year. They are cheap on a single game pickup and delivery, they will discount multiple games, they communicate extremely well, they are always on time and fast, and they know how to transport games.

I've never been more disrespected, mistreated, verbally abused and stressed-out than dealing with these two.

I won't go into specifics here but, suffice to say, I would go with a larger shipper.

Pay a little more and save yourself the drama.

Eek.

You may need to expand some on your experience, if you are advising others here that this company isn't reputable. You can also share diplomatically. Just my .02

In my opinion and experience, they don't respect your time or schedule. They expect you to cancel your plans and be there for delivery whenever they want, and if you don't, they get angry. Even when you agree on a date, they will change this on a whim. On my first delivery, the wife texted me late Friday night and said he will be there on Saturday morning. No delivery company works like this. Unfortunately, I had to go to a 90th birthday party for a relative and explained this to her. Normally, I would accommodate something like this because they are coming from far away, but I just couldn't reschedule.

I suspected that they weren't happy and that I made the list.

Fast forward to the most recent time I used them. When I texted the wife I explained to her that I needed some time to make some room for the game before delivery. She said not to worry since they wouldn't be in my area until the first week in June (this was mid-May). This timeline worked for me. She also asks me to have some people there to help bring the game inside. I thought this was weird but I said that I would try. Then, out of the blue she texts me and tells me that they want to deliver the game earlier, I said no and this is not we just agreed to. We had just spoken about this. She then became agitated. She starts sending me long-winded texts saying how he has a bad back and the pitch of my driveway is too steep. She then says "I don't want to git ugly." I was astounded. It was like she was threatening me. It was sat this point I tuned her out, I just couldn't deal with her any longer.

As the delivery day approached, she texts me and tells me his truck broke down and that he will be late be a few days. Now keep in mind, I had someone scheduled to help me and the delay made him unavailable. No apology.

The day of delivery was no better. We agreed on a time and then she texts me and says can you meet an hour earlier, I said fine. As I'm preparing for delivery, moving stuff around, clearing space in the driveway, he texts me and says he's outside (an hour earlier to the latest time change.) I go outside and explain that him being early was not helpful. He then starts going ballistic, yelling at me, neck veins popping, spit flying, telling me to give him his money. No respect for my neighbors. He gets in my face and says that I canceled delivery four times, (which I didn't) and that he'll take the game back with him. I was going to tell him to take it but I already had started sourcing parts for it. At this point I gave up trying to talk to him because you just realize that, no matter how much reasoning, you're not getting anywhere. Luckily, my landscaper was onsite and helped me place the game inside. He left and didn't even thank the guy for helping.

A complete fiasco.
