Does anyone have advice on woodgrain cabinetry bolts? This Vanguard I picked up has a lot of carriage bolts through the woodgrain. New nickel? colored ones would stick out, I think. I was thinking about spraying them with brown rust-o-leum.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Thanks.

Are they supposed to be black? Usually at least some hardware still has the original finish on it. If originality isn't a concern, I'd still go with black.

I'm not sure - they're mostly rusted. I'll look at some at the top and see if I can tell. My recollection is they're unpainted, but my memory is probably failing me.

Okay, I went and looked. The ones on the front are rusted, but the edges *might* be brown, its hard to tell.

The 2 at the top are rusted, but appear to be unpainted (ie, nickel colored).

Anyone have a woodgrain Centuri cabinet they could look at?

Can't really help since all the bolts on my Vanguard are the same shade of rusty brown as yours. Still debating black or brown when I put it back together. Thought they were supposed to be brown when I first saw the game, but when I got close I realized it was rust.

Okay, black seems the logical choice to me then.

I just had a thought that they might have been brown - but I guess thats the rust.

Thanks!
