Wood screws for Atari cabs used to anchor wire tie wraps?

Anyone know where to find these? They have a pretty steep pitch on them so although you can get a similar metal screw... I would prefer to use a wood screw that has the same pitch threads.

These are common in most Atari cabs and are also often used to anchor the power block to the base... The ones in my current project are all rusted up and I would like to replace them all.

too small as in width or length?

comparison pic?

Here is a pic... you can see its slightly smaller in all aspects.

Looks like they are more of a 10-10 coarse thread. The ones I purchased are 8-11.

Screw you!

Some more food for thought...

I got one more batch of screws (this time from McFeely's) ... here is the comparison between the three... the McFeely's is closer to the original... although the threads are not as beefy. The head on the McFeely's fastener is also a bit larger than the original Atari.

Atari calls out a #10 screw, the McMaster is a #8 and the McFeely's is a #10. McMaster doesn't stock a #10.

The McFeeley's screw's head looks more squared off. Looks to be much closer than the other one.

The McFeely's are close enough for me... unless someone can find a dead on replacement

In the grand scheme of restoration... its pretty low on the scale of importance, I just wanted something close enough and I think it fits the bill.

You know, I'm glad I'm not the only one who cares about things like this. I've kept a bunch of old, rusted out screws in my cabs simply because they were originals and I couldn't find *just* the right screw to match...
