I need to glue the bottom of a mspac cab today because its frayed up pretty bad. Do you think if I wrapped some 2x4's in shrink wrap. Then used those 2x4's to compress the edges of the bottom of the cab with clamps. Would it stick to the glue?

If you are going to do it like that I would not use shrink wrap id use wax paper.

Wax paper... Something else to buy! Thanks for the post because this thing is beat to hell.

That's what I was thinking after talking to armi for a few. Just take a razor knife and cut away all the lose material and then sand it down so it not quite as rough then fill with bondo.

Well looks like new wood all the way around. When I tried to remove the front leg levelers the particle board just came apart.

Damn I hate woodwork but the cabs available to me all sux and need work. Money thing ya know.

Anyway why go thru the whole new cab build with good plywood just to put particle on the bottom? Crazy...
